My Approach to Coaching

My coaching philosophy is to focus on riders who share the same passion for the sport and would benefit from guidance to realise their potential.

To do this, I will create a flexible training programme based on an initial consultation and offer continuous assessment that suits your aims and lifestyle.

There are two packages available, Aspire and a little bit extra...


ASPIRE

PERSONALISED TRAINING PLAN

I will review your cycling background, fitness level and create a flexible plan that ties in with your lifestyle and daily commitments. This will include establishing training zones and regular testing to determine fitness levels.


ANALYSIS AND FEEDBACK

One of the fundamental pillars of good coaching is clear and consistent communication. I’ll send you a weekly training plan, track your ride data and feedback to you on a regular basis. This will allow me to monitor the direction of your form and adjust your training accordingly.


STRENGTH AND CONDITIONING ADVICE

I will advise on off-the-bike exercises for strength and conditioning to compliment your performance on the bike, improving efficiency whilst also reducing the chance of injury and fatigue.


A LITTLE BIT EXTRA...

TACTICAL RACE AND RIDE SKILL ADVICE

No two races are the same and every rider responds differently. That’s why I plan to offer pre -race tactics and post-race feedback.


RACE TRIPS

Train and race alongside me during trips to Belgium, France and Holland in 2020. I’ll provide in-time advice during those sessions and races.
